Few popular composers are remembered with such abiding affection as Geoff Goddard. While in the employ of pioneer independent music producer Joe Meek in the early 1960's, Goddard penned hit after hit, including the immortal Johnny Remember Me, which went to #1 in the British charts. Geoff's elegant, classically trained keyboard style can be heard on the majority of RGM recordings from 1961-1964. Goddard also played keyboards on, and contributed vocals to, the classic rock and roll megahit Telstar, the first British rock single to conquer the #1 spot in the US charts. As a recording artist, his own releases include Girl Bride, My Little Girl's Come Home and the beloved Sky Men. Don't you think it's time Geoff's place in pop music is recognized?
